Ahoy, Captain!
Take a fishing trip with friends or enjoy a relaxing day on the water with your family. Sail between the beautiful islands and dock at one of the many inviting beaches – Fænø Kalv lies just in front of us.
From the boat, you can fish for mackerel, sea trout, flatfish, herring, or garfish – or simply sit back and watch the playful porpoises in the water. There are over 3,000 of them in the Little Belt! Sail under the impressive Little Belt Bridge and explore the Little Belt Nature Park at its best.
Our Boats
- All our boats are easy to handle and equipped with Garmin Striker fish finder, compass, and all necessary safety equipment.
- Perfect for fishing trips, diving excursions, or just a relaxing day on the Little Belt.
- Available for daily rental from 08:00 to 18:00, including 25L of fuel.
Practical Information
- Pick-up: between 08:00–10:00
- Return: by 18:00
- Boats must be returned in the same clean condition as when received. Failure to clean may result in a fee of up to DKK 500.
Bad Weather
In case of bad weather, Gl. Ålbo may, for safety reasons, prevent boats from going out.
Signing of Rental Terms
Upon arrival and handover of the rental boat, Gl. Ålbo’s rental terms must be signed and accepted.
Our Rental Boats
Boat 1 – Kaasbøl 17” ALU – 40 HP (4-5 persons)
A sturdy and stable aluminum boat, perfect for family trips, sport fishing, or a small diving group. Easy to maneuver, with space for 4–5 people.
Boat 2 – Limbo 585 – 50 HP (6-7 persons)
Large and spacious boat with a powerful engine. Ideal for larger groups or families exploring the Little Belt.
Boat 5 – TS 5900 – 90 HP (6-8 persons)
Robust and spacious boat, perfect for divers. Provides access to diving spots in the Little Belt, with room for both equipment and divers. Requires a speedboat license.
Boat 6 – Crescent 550 – 40 HP (5-6 persons)
Comfortable and safe boat for 5–6 people. Ideal for fishing and diving trips or relaxed excursions on the water.
Boat 10 – Smartliner 19 – 40 HP (4-5 persons)
Versatile and easy-to-handle boat for 4–5 people. Perfect for relaxed picnics on the water or whale watching.
Whale Watching – “A perfect spot for whale watching”
At Gl. Ålbo Camping, you can experience the Little Belt’s small whales up close. The porpoises, one of the densest populations in the world, play and glide right outside our pier, their dorsal fins breaking the surface as little greetings from the secret underwater world.
The Little Belt is their preferred home, serving as a breeding ground, “nursery,” and hunting area. Their presence indicates a healthy and rich fish population – and whether you are fly fishing, boating, or simply a curious observer, you can watch their playful behavior up close. Porpoises follow boats, play in the currents, and give the Little Belt a unique, lively character.
Even without a fishing rod, strolling along the beach at Gl. Ålbo provides plenty of chances to see these small whales in the deep water – a magical moment of nature that makes your stay an unforgettable whale watching experience.
