At the end of October it is time again: From 25. to 27.10.19 sea trout fans from near and far meet at the camping site Gl. Ålbo directly at the Lillebælt – only about one hour by car from Flensburg. Building on the success of previous events, the focus this time will again not be on a competition, but on fishing together and meeting friends. Nevertheless, we have come up with a few innovations, which we would like to present to you in the following:

2019 as a partner on board: Der Heiländer

Most coastal fly fishermen in Germany are certainly familiar with him: Christopher Heiland aka “Der Heiländer”, who with his fly fishing shop of the same name in the city of Lübeck (feel free to take a look at: is in the middle of the sea trout business almost all year round. Christopher will be happy to assist you with his in-depth knowledge and not only has tips on sea trout fishing, but will also present some exciting news from the tackle section. And if you’ve always wanted to try out a two-hand fly rod, Christopher, an exceptionally skilled salmon angler , will be happy to show you some demonstrations of his casting skills.

Flyfishing course for fishing ladies

More and more women enjoy fly fishing. Reason enough for us to offer a course only for women on Saturday: An employee of the Norwegian fly fishing company Arctic Silver ( will be available on site to introduce interested women to the wonderful coastal fly fishing. By the way: Those of the male visitors who are also interested in an introductory or refresher course on fly fishing can also discuss this with Christopher beforehand.

Plastic in the Basket

If you are a sea trout angler, you should not have missed it: The campaign #plasticinthebasket now unites fly fishermen beyond national borders. Christopher Heiland has now firmly anchored the Danish campaign in Germany and will continue to expand it: And of course we also want to do our part during the Seatrout Camp and show that we not only use the sea as a place to enoy our hobby, but also protect the environment! Further information to this exemplary action we give you gladly during the event..

Shuttle service & dinner

The popular shuttle service to the top sea trout spots will be offered again this year during the Seatrout Camp: By boat we will take you to different places, which otherwise would not be accessible (islands!) or only very difficult. In short: Out of the cabin, into the wading trousers, down to the jetty, fast transfer to the fishing place – it couldn’t be more comfortable, could it? On Saturday we also make sure that there is something tasty to eat. Whether it comes from the barbeque or we come up with something else – let us surprise you! Please take care of the drinks yourself. If you forget something – in the kiosk we have wine and beer for sale – at a special price! The costs for the boat transfer and the Saturday evening are about 20,- € per person and have to be paid directly on arrival.

Event for all

Whether you’re a fly fisherman, spin fisher or bombarda fan, the Seatrout Camp is sure to delight all sea trout enthusiasts. The Danish fly fisherman & artist Lars Østergaard Jensen, whose wonderful fishing stories many of our guests still have laugh lines from today, and Holger Bente from, who has also fished our spot many times and is happy to pass on his tips, have already confirmed their participation. In any case, this weekend is a perfect opportunity, especially for those who have always wanted to fish with a fly, to pick up a fly rod and let nice fellow fishermen or a course show you the first steps. But be careful: fly fishing can be addictive 😉

Registration & Discount

Everyone is cordially invited – but please register in time so that we can plan accordingly and ensure that everything runs smoothly. To book the cabins or rooms or for a pitch, please contact us via our contact form at

Please enter “seatrout-camp” in the comment field, so that we are also sure that you belong to the fishing guests.

The best at the end: We give 10% discount on the overnight stay price as event discount. For the cabins it would be great if several people share one – then there is room for more participants. And it’s more sociable – especially since the time is changed on the same weekend and we therefore have 1 hour more time to snort or sleep in!

IMPORTANT: Registration deadline is 15.8.2019.

We are looking forward to your visit and to a great and hopefully fishy weekend!

Ketti, Klaus, Christopher and many more
